Cambridge Immunology Network

Research

I am a PhD student in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, where my supervisor is Dr. Muhammad Wasim.

I am performing part of my research work as a visiting research scholar; at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, University of Cambridge, UK under the supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Murchison. During this time I am supported by a Higher Education Commission (Pakistan) scholarship.

The canine transmissible venereal tumour is the second most prevalent canine cancer in Pakistan. I am investigating the immunological, mutational and gene expressional changes that mediate CTVT response to Vincristine therapy.
