Research

Supervisor Professor Clare Bryant

I am interested in the interaction between host cells and pathogens to find a new therapeutic target. I currently investigate Toll-like receptor 4 signaling to NF-κB activation leading to inflammatory gene expression in macrophages in response to Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium. My main work is the confocal microscopy of dynamic NF-κB nuclear translocation in a live cell.
