Investigating epigenetic mechanisms and their potential use as disease prognostic biomarkers in Paediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease. 

Research project:

Analysis of gene expression and DNA methylation profile in CD8 positive T lymphocytes extracted from peripheral blood of paediatric patients with IBD versus controls.
