Research Interests

Biomarker studies in ANCA-associated vasculitis, lupus and immune-mediated renal disease.

I have been using proteomic platforms to investigate peptide expression signatures in renal transplantation specifically in chronic allograft dysfunction and antibody mediated rejection and currently we conduct a pilot study to identify protein biomarkers of lupus nephritis. We perform state-of-the-art proteomic analyses on plasma and urine samples of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus with or without lupus nephritis.
