Fluidigm, focus on tools for single cell biology. We specialise in both microfluidics, enabling precise control of single cells and reagents, and also proteomic discovery tools such as the CyTOF (Mass Cytometry Time of Flight).
At CRUK-CI there is our technology both in the flow core and genome core. On Wednesday 29th our Field Application Specialist, Nina, will specifically be presenting on our CyTOF which is in the Cancer Institute but is ran as a service by Richard Grenfell. This instrument can be used to identify the expression of panels of 40 proteins in populations of single cells. The CyTOF has been utilised in clinical studies and also basic research with human and mice.
