Cambridge Immunology Network
My research focuses on allorecognition pathways in transplantation - the direct and indirect pathways. The aim is to characterise the longevity of these pathways and to understand if this knowledge may facilitate the development of novel immuno-regulatory therapies - such as with pathway and antigen specific regulatory T cells, which may help to prevent the development of chronic rejection, which is inevitable in clinical transplantation currently.
