Professor Pietro Cicuta

I am interested in the mechanisms of signalling and gene regulation, and have worked, in collaboration with Prof. Clare Bryant, on signalling in innate immune cells following bacterial infection.

We also work on AMR, physiology of the lung, and lung infections.  We focus on live cell imaging approaches, including single cell quantitative fluorescence, optical tweezers, microfluidics and organ on chip.
