Cambridge Immunology Network
I carried out my PhD studies in the Department of Genetics at the Andalusian Center for Developmental Biology, a research institute located in Seville, Spain. During my PhD I investigated the crosstalk between stress pathways driven by the Mitogen Activated Protein Kinases (MAPKs), and the regulation of chromosome segregation by the Spindle Assembly Checkpoint (SAC). As a part of Kaser's group I am planning to apply my knowledge in order to understand how complex genetic and environmental alterations can be a cause of inflammatory bowel disease.
