Research
Our laboratory provides Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (Tissue Typing) services for one of the largest clinical transplant repertoires in the UK (kidney, pancreas, heart, lung, liver, intestinal and multi-visceral organ transplantation, and haematopoietic stem cell transplantation). Our research interests focus on the role of HLA matching and HLA-specific allosensitisation to improve access to and clinical outcome of solid organ transplantation.
