Cambridge Immunology Network
Cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) are specialized effector T cells involves in adaptive immunity which kill target cell by releasing lytic granules. In the laboratory of Professor Gillian Griffiths we aim at understanding the molecular basis underlaying CTL effector function during immune response. My research assesses the contribution of Rac small GTPases and their regulators in the dynamic of the actin cytoskeleton and the centrosome during target cell killing by CTL.
