Research
Supervisor: Professor Ken Smith
My current research aims to identify clinically useful biomarkers in Takayasu’s Arteritis (TA) and Behçet’s disease, and examine geographic differences in Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) using as a starting point a prospectively collected dataset of gene expression data derived from the separated leukocyte subsets of patients presenting with active SLE and vasculitis.
